At least 26 people were arrested on Saturday in Hong Kong, where there were new clashes between police and demonstrators. During clashes with casualties on both sides, according to TASS referring to a local radio station.

The clashes occurred in Mongkok on the Kowloon peninsula, where two major highways and recently visited a camp students demanding democratic elections. On Friday, police cleared the barricades in the area, freeing up the roadway to traffic. However, hundreds of protesters tried to regain control of the area, which remained covered the protests for three weeks.
