Honor V10 compare with Huawei Mate 10

Design

Design is very subjective thing and we cannot choose the winner from both smartphones. Honor V10 and Huawei Mate 10 have similar things, as well as differences. They are both large, although Mate 10 is a bit wider, but lower, due to 16:9 aspect ratio. Honor V10 is higher, thanks to the 18:9 display, which makes it more convenient to hold in hand. Huawei Mate 10 has different camera sensor location and body materials. It comes with glass instead of metal. Anyway, two devices look very good and everyone deserves praise.

Display

Huawei Mate 10 has a classic 16:9 display with a diagonal of 5.9 inches, while Honor V10 offers 18:9 and 5.99 inches. Both screens are made using IPS technology, while Mate 10 received a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The pixel density is slightly higher (498 vs. 403 ppi for Honor V10), but it is not noticeable in real life.

Processor and memory

Mate 10 and Honor V10 work on the same Kirin 970 chipset. Also they have similar performance, but Mate 10 comes in only one configuration with 4/64 GB of memory, while Honor V10 offers up to 6/128 GB. If we talk about performance, then both of them work very fast and without brakes.

Camera

Huawei Mate 10 is a winner, because it is equipped with 12MP and 20MP (second black and white), but with bigger aperture f/1.6. However, Honor V10 has an assistant on the basis of neurotechnology. it improves the quality of pictures, take better portrait photos with blurring of the background, optical stabilization and other features. In general, it is unlikely that you will be disappointed with one of these phones.

As for the front camera, Huawei Mate 10 comes with 8MP sensor, and Honor V10 has 13 megapixel camera.

Battery

The difference in battery capacity is not critical: 4000 mAh in Mate 10 and 3750 mAh in Honor V10. You may think that the first one works a little longer, but this is not so, because it has bigger display resolution (2K vs. Full HD+). Quick charge is available for both smartphones.

Price

And here is the most interesting part. Honor V10 is very good smartphone, and it doesn’t differ much from Mate 10. However, it costs two times cheaper.

At the moment you can buy Mate 10 for $720, while Honor V10 with the same amount of memory will cost about $400.

So, as you understand, Honor V10 is our winner!
