Today Lenovo announced its new smartphones. Many people expect Lenovo S5, but the Chinese company released as many as three new phones – Lenovo K5 and K5 Play. All these phones are from budget category, because even the total price of all three phones together will hardly reach the price tag of modern flagships.
So, let’s make quick review of specifications and features of new Lenovo phones.
Lenovo S5 Review
The most expected budget phone from Lenovo in 2018 is Lenovo S5. It has full metal body, thin top and bottom bezels, 5.7-inch display, and 16-megapixel front camera with face recognation function.
On the back panel you can find horizontal dual camera (13 + 13 megapixels) and fingerprint reader. By the way, in addition to specifications and features of new smartphone, Lenovo published real sample photos from the main camera:
Lenovo S5: Performance
As for the hardware, new smartphone is powered by quad core chipset Snapdragon 625 with Adreno 506 graphics and some version of RAM and internal memory: 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64 GB/128GB of storage.
There are no touch or physical buttons on display. The user interface ZUI offers to control the smartphone with the help of on-screen buttons, or by the gesture system on U-Touch screen. Probably, we should expect a control system similar to the one used in Meizu smartphones.
