BBC channel dared to dust off the eternal history, known to us on the novel by Dumas and countless adaptations, and not lost. Powerful cast, rich decorations, carefully aligned fight scenes – all these make the new The Musketeers get their portion audience’s attention and approval from the discerning critics.
In the story, two tired and soaked men, father and son D’Artagnan, stopped in a restaurant somewhere near Paris. There also claimed a group of bandits, robbers, and the young Gascon down and gets into a fight. Fight as abruptly terminated and bouncy opening credits notify us that adventure began.
From the first minutes it becomes clear that the new series is not devoid of humor and music will play a significant role in it. Like other pleasant sounds – creaking “worn saddle”, the sound of hooves on the cobblestones, whistling and clanging swords, heartbeat Musketeers.
