The new series Constantine based on the comic book Hellblazer will be released only in the autumn, and in the cast of the show has already occurred a serious replacement. As the resource IGN, who played the leading female role of Lucy Griffiths left the project due to NBC’s “change of creative direction,” a supernatural drama.
Griffiths played exorcist named Liv, who discovered her ability to see supernatural beings in our world and became the target of demons.
Producers are not going to take another actress for this role. Instead Liv in the series will be a new character – Zed, which will be the right hand of John Constantine (Matt Ryan). Zed debut in one of the first episodes, together with other original comic characters, and play it Angélica Celaya.
Premiere of Constantine is scheduled for October 24.
