Swedish-Chinese company NEVS published a plan of reorganization, which should help save the company from bankruptcy and, therefore, still not give disappear legendary brand SAAB. In the “saviors” appear two automaker from Asia.
The presented strategy of reorganization will be discussed at the council of creditors scheduled for October 8. Names of Asian companies that could be potential partners NEVS, are kept secret. However, the press service of NEVS note that one of these automakers “extremely interested in expanding its automotive products at the expense of the new premium line of models under the brand SAAB and is willing to invest heavily in its development with the use of resources and development SAAB”.
Second automaker is interested in establishing a joint venture in which redeem certain shares SAAB and provide the necessary funding for the production.
At the same time representatives of NEVS note that several other car companies (which, again, are not called) are interested in priboretenii production areas and equipment SAAB in Trollhattan. Also considered as an option agreement on the organization of a contract assembly facilities SAAB.
Despite the fact that none of the options to save the company is no specific agreement has been reached, in NEVS optimistic and say that preliminary talks with potential Asian partners have been very successful.
