ALLDOCUBE M5X: Design

The design of Alldocube M5X doesn’t differ much from most other tablets in the budget price category. It is available only in a pleasant platinum color. Its dimensions are 24.00 x 17.00 x 0.85 cm, but the weight is quite small – 510 grams. The body is made of durable polycarbonate, while the corners are rounded.

The bright 10.1-inch display takes of the most front panel. We’ll talk about screen a little later. The side bezels around the screen are slightly narrower than the top and bottom. Here you can see 2MP front camera.

There are no logos or inscriptions on the back panel. On the top you can see a gray removable panel with slot for SIM and microSD cards. Also, there is main camera and flashlight.

The right side has volume rocker and power button. USB port and 3.5 mm headphone jack are located on the top edge.

The tablet supports multitouch up to 10 touches. The brightness is good, but the screen is not good visible in direct sunlight. From other side, display has good contrast and viewing angles while using indoor or in low light conditions.

By the way, the sound is definitely one of the advantages of this tablet. The speakers provide surround sound. However, the speakers’ location is not very convenient, because most often your hands will cover them. Fortunately, you can use the headphones. There is 3.5 mm audio jack.

ALLDOCUBE M5X runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. It is stock Android, so there are no Chinese pre-installed apps. Moreover, you can choose the necessary applications yourself during the first setup.

The tablet has a good battery capacity of 6500mAh. The single charge will be enough for 5 hours of continuous video playback.

Alldocube M5X has received two cameras. The front camera is 2MP. It is good video communication, for example, Skype. The rear panel has another 5MP camera with flashlight. Yes, you can take photos and videos, but you should not expect high quality. However, if you need to take a photo of document or bus timetable, then the main camera can be very useful.
