Blackview P6000: All you need to Know – Price, Release Date, Specs

In November of this year, Blackview promises to introduce a new smartphone called Blackview P6000. It is very promising device with big battery of 6180 mAh, 5.5-inch FullHD screen (1080 × 1920 pixels) and a pretty design.

Blackview P6000: Design

The design of Blackview P6000 is classic and resembles Huawei P10: thin side bezels, a rectangular Home button with rounded edges and an integrated fingerprint reader. New smartphone has horizontal layout of the main camera modules in the upper left corner, and prominent indents above and below the display.

At the moment, we have only official render of future Blackview P6000. However smartphone looks very even good. There are only questions to the back cover: it will be metal or Blackview will follow the latest trends and use glass?

Blackview P6000: Camera

The main highlight of Blackview P6000 is the dual main camera with incredible resolution – 21 megapixels for each sensor. The device is based on mobile processor MediaTek MT6757, also known as Helio P20.

According to the specification of the chipset, published on official MediaTek website, it supports either one 24MP sensor or dual camera sensor with 13MP each. So either the manufacturer simply twists the specifications of Blackview P6000 to attract attention, or use interpolation.

By the way, the processor clock speed declared by the vendor is 2.6 GHz. It is not Helio P20, but more powerful Helio P25 (MT6757CD). But even its image coprocessor (ISP) can not work with dual cameras 21MP + 21MP in real life.

Blackview P6000: Performance

In the rest we are waited by quite typical Chinese smartphone of an average price range: 6 GB of RAM LPDDR4x with clock speed 1600 MHz, built-in storage capacity of 64 Gb, expandable with microSD memory cards up to 256 Gb. Also new smartphone comes with 8-megapixel front camera.

Also I should say that new device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system without significant customization from the manufacturer. It is likely to receive an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo.

Price and release date

As I already said, Blackview P6000 should be released in November 2017. The price is not yet known, but I think it will be about $250.
