Honor 9 Lite First Review: Four cameras, Full Screen and Budget Price

The flagship smartphone Honor 9 was released in summer, and some days ago the Chinese manufacturer announced its younger version – Honor 9 Lite. Despite the lower price, the smartphone looks much more interesting than the older model.

For the end of 2017 Honor 9 looks very old, thanks to its huge bezels around the screen. New device Honor 9 Lite should fix whis problem. It received full screen 5.65-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and thin bezels.

Honor 9 Lite: Design

Despite the bigger diagonal, dimensions are almost the same. The height of new phone increased to 151 mm, width – up to 71.9 mm, and thickness – up to 7.6 mm against 143.3 x 70.9 x 7.5 mm from Honor 9.

Honor 9 Lite: Performance

The hardware of Honor 9 Lite is almost flagship, but it is still mid-range smartphone. It is equipped with decent eight-core chipset Kirin 659 (the same hardware is used in Honor 7X). Also new smartphone coems with 3 or 4 GB of memory in combination with 32 or 64GB flash drive. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 3000 mAh, which is less than the same Honor 9 with its more compact body.

Honor 9 Lite: Camera

It is really interesting part of new smartphone. The similar camera combination was in Huawei Nova 2s – 13MP + 2MP rear camera. The manufacturer says that it supports for phase autofocus, bokeh effect and slow motion video recording.

Honor 9 Lite: Release date and price

In China, you can buy Honor 9 Lite on December 26. Then the manufacturer plans to introduce new smartphone in 14 countries.

The basic version of the smartphone with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM will cost about $182, while version with 4 GB of RAM will cost significantly more – $227 or $273 , depending on internal memory (32 or 64 GB).
