Intel introduced the new processors Intel Core M

As part of IFA Intel introduced processors Intel Core M, which will form the basis of devices format 2-in-1 Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba, and others.

Processors Intel Core M provide up to 50% higher speed computing and a 40% higher performance graphics processing compared with Intel Core 4th generation. Owners of older PCs will also note a significant increase in speed. Intel Core M 2 times to provide a higher performance and to 7 times higher performance graphics processing, compared with PC purchased four years ago.

Housing processors Intel Core M 50% less, and at a power 4.5 W, the new processors have a 60% lower TDP than the previous generation of products. This allows OEMs to design a fanless system thickness of less than 9 mm, which is smaller battery size AAA, and the thinnest notebooks. New range of products includes more than 20 models of processor-based Intel Core M. The first system will be available later in the season of winter holidays.

As part of IFA, many manufacturers, including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo, presented preparing to release devices based on processors Intel Core M, which are of different sizes, versions and are available in different price categories.

In the IV quarter. Acer expands its popular line of notebook format 2-in-1 new model Aspire Switch 12, which is equipped with FHD-display with a diagonal of 12.5 inches and the original stand and keyboard with magnetic mount for use in 5 different modes.

ASUS introduced the ASUS Zenbook UX305, thin and light system Ultrabook with QHD-display diagonal of 13 inches, and the device size 2-in-1 ASUS Transformer Book T300FA, which was presented during the presentations by Intel. Transformer Book T300FA – a powerful device format 2-in-1, which goes on sale in Europe in the autumn at a price of 599 euros. ASUS plans to release the model ASUS Transformer T300 Chi, which will be even thinner.

New PC Lenovo ThinkPad Helix, sales will begin in October, 12% lighter and 15% thinner than previous models and has a better performance due to the processors Intel Core M.

Intel also introduced the soon-to-release-based PC Intel Core M, Toshiba and told that more devices based on the new processor will be presented in the first half of 2015 in order to expand the range of new devices, Intel is working with contract manufacturers of electronics, including the company Wistron. Wistron is developing a new device using the design Llama Mountain by Intel. Intel first introduced the project to develop a device which has a fanless design, the thickness of 7.2 mm and a weight of 670 g, earlier this year, the exhibition Computex.

Processors Intel Core M are available in several models: processor Intel Core M-5Y10 / 5Y10a at up to 2.0 GHz processors and Intel Core M-5Y70 with a frequency of 2.6 GHz. Model Intel Core M-5Y70 is the most powerful processor Intel Core M. New supports Intel vPro technology and is designed for enterprise device with a form factor of 2-to-1.
