JMGO N7L: Design

The projector body is made of silver metal and black plastic. It has a round shape. The design is very interesting, because it not just a black box with a lens, like many other budget projectors. To be honest, JMGO N7L looks similar to robotic vaccum cleaner. Don’t you think so?

Now we’ll look at projector from all sides. On the front side there is a glass lens. On the rear panel are all the connectors and ports, such as DC Port, HDMI, RJ45, SV, USB 2.0, USB 3.0.

On the bottom you can see rubber feet and metal threads. Across the circumference of the projector there is a powerful cooling system and speakers.

On the top there is a small control button, which has an LED backlight. This makes it more convenient to use the projector in complete darkness. When you touch the button, it is highlighted in blue.

The dimensions of new gadget are 21.40 x 21.40 x 5.27 cm and weight 1.2 kg. The package includes: projector, remote control, power adapter and user manual.

The remote panel works from two AAA battery. It looks stylish and futuristic. The interface of projector is designes to control it from remote control. Of course, you can connect mouse or even keyboard, and it is not necessary.

JMGO new projector is powered by Amlogic Cortex A53. Also there is 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Its hardware is enough for watching 4K video content, IPTV and playing games, even the most demanding ones.

The projector has an LED lamp with a power of 30W. Manufacturers says about 30 000 hours of lamp life.

The cireless connection is provided by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Wi-Fi works in dual bands 2.4G + 5G.

The operating system JMGO OS is based on Android platform. It means that you can easily install any Android apps such as Youtube, Google play, Netflix, etc. After turning on the projector, you will see a stylish, minimalistic interface. As we already said, it is designed to control from remote control.

There are some pre-installed applications out of the box: media player, file manager, application installer, utilities for wireless image transmission to the projector. Also you can find App Store, some online movie libraries and IPTV. However, these services are in Chinese.

Another advantage of JMGO M7L projector is dual HiFi speakers. It pleases with high sound quality. Thanks to the symmetrical design of projector, the sound is voluminous. It helps to complete immersion while watching a movie. You can also use the projector as Bluetooth speaker in standby mode.

JMGO N7L: Picture quality

This is a projector with a short focal length. What does it mean? You need less space for it to work. In other words, you can place the projector closer to the screen, and the image quality will be very good. For example, if you want to get an image size of 150 inches, you need to place the projector at a distance of only 50 centimeters from the screen or wall. Impressive, is not it?

JMGO N7L is able to project Full HD 1080p image with a diagonal of 80-150 inches from a distance from 2 to 5 meters. The declared brightness is 700 ANSI lumens, while the contrast is 2000:1. With this brightness you don’t need to wait until the evening to enjoy watching movie. The picture is also good in daytime. The aspect ratio of the image is 16:9 or 4:3.

By zooming, focusing and shifting the lens, you can adjust the projection to the screen from anywhere in the room. Then, using the settings from the projector menu, you can correct all possible image deformations.

Thanks to a vertical ± 45 degrees and a horizontal ± 45 degree correction the picture looks great. No matter where the projector is placed. This makes the device very comfortable to use in different rooms and situations.

Despite the resolution of only 1280×800, the image is clear, and the pixels are not visible. The colors are very juicy, saturated, the faces have natural colors. Black color is very deep, if you close a part of the image with your hand, you can hardly see the transition from shadow to black.

JMGO N7L: Noise

DLP projectors are dust-free and do not require intensive ventilation due to the design features, respectively, the noise level is lower than 3LCD projectors. JMGO N7L is quite quiet. In normal mode the noise level is only 28 dB. It is much quieter than many other projectors.
