Kospet Vision First REVIEW: Dual Camera Android Smartwatch!
A couple of days ago, the popular Chinese manufacturer opened the pre-order of its new smartwatch called Kospet Vision. The new watch has sports design, 1.6-inch color display, water protection, support for 4G, GPS and GLONASS.
However, the main feature of new smartwatch is two cameras: 8MP and 5MP.
We have prepared the first review of Kospet Vision. We want to note that this is a really smartwatch, because it runs on Android, supports of third-party apps through Play Store, as well as SIM card to receive and make calls.

Kospet Vision: Design
The new smartwatch looks very stylish and futuristic. As for me, the design of the watch is more suitable for sports and everyday use.
Kospet Vision has a large round display and a double strap. Why double? Because its lower part is made of silicone, and the upper part is leather. The strap goes well with the metal case of the watch.
Kospet Vision is available in three colors: black, red and blue. But, in fact, only the thin frame around the display and the threads on the strap change. The main body remains black in any of color options.
The size of the watch is 274 x 48 x 17 mm and the weight is 86 grams. It seems to me that this smartwatch is more suitable for men because of its large size and weight.
The strap is 223 mm long and 24 mm wide.
Now let’s look at the watch body. Most of the front panel is occupied by display. We will talk about its specifications a little later.
Around the display is color or black frame, depending on the color you select.
Above the screen there is a front camera. As you understand, this camera is used for video communication via Skype or other apps.
On the right side there are two round buttons to control the watch. Between them is another camera. The second camera can be used for quick photography, if it is not convenient or just too lazy to get the smartphone out of your pocket.
Imagine yourself from the side, how you will look when you take photo on the side camera. I think it looks very funny!
On the left side is only microphone hole.
Below we can see a small speaker. It is used for answering calls or even listening to music and watching videos.
As usual, on the rear panel there is a connector for nano SIM card, heart rate sensor and magnetic connectors for charging a smartwatch.
By the way, the package contents include a user manual, a protective film on the screen and two identical cables for charging. It’s a little strange, right? The manufacturer says that the charging cable for smartwatch is unique, and if you lose it, then buying a new one can be very problematic.
As you can see, Kospet takes care of their users and puts two charging cables in a box. One of them, for example, can be used at home, and the other – at work.
Kospet Vision: Display
As I already said, Kospet Vision has a large 1.6-inch display. This is IPS panel with a viewing angle of 180 degrees and a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. The screen is color, and its brightness and contrast make it possible to clearly see the display even in sunny weather.
Kospet Vision has fully touchscreen display. However, you can use the physical buttons on the right side to quickly access functions or return to the previous menu.
By the way, the watch display is covered by protective Corning Gorilla Glass. An additional coating prevents scratches on the screen. The manufacturer says that even if the watch is in a pocket with sharp keys or a small knife, there will be no scratches from them on the display.
Kospet Vision: Specifications
Kospet Vision is powered by quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.25 GHz. Also, the watch has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. This is a small smartphone on hand!
The watch runs on Android 7.1.1 operating system. Kospet Vision comes with pre-installed Google apps, such as Maps, YouTube and others, but you can also download any apps from Google Play Store, like WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook.
Kospet Vision is equipped with GPS and GLONASS. They allow you to track the route of your movement in real time. Thanks to the large display, it is quite convenient to monitor the movement on the map. This feature is very useful for runners or tourists in new cities.
As I wrote earlier, Kospet Vision smartwatch is equipped with two cameras. The front camera has a resolution of 8MP, and the side camera – 5MP.
By the way, Kospet Vision has protection against water and dust, but the manufacturer did not specify the standard. Most likely, you won’t be able to swim in the pool.
Kospet Vision has 800mAh battery. If you insert a SIM card and use Wi-Fi, that is, normal everyday use, then one charge is enough for 1-1.5 days of battery life.
Given the large color display and many functions, it is not surprising that battery life is only one day. I don’t think this is a big problem, just do not forget to charge the watch every night before bed, like a smartphone.
Of course, the battery life may vary depending on functions and activity of use. Kospet Vision lasts 5-7 days in standby time.
It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the smartwatch.
Kospet Vision: Functions
The watch is equipped with a standard set of sports functions: heart rate, steps, distance, calories, speed, stopwatch, alarm clock, sleep monitor, reminder and weather.
By inserting a SIM card, you can answer calls and messages. Using a Wi-Fi connection, notifications from various apps and social meadia are available to you.
