Oukitel K6 First Review: THIS IS YOUR DREAM PHONE: 6GB RAM and Helio P23
At the end of 2017 Oukitel announced two very good smartphones. The first one is Oukitel MIX 2 – competitor to Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, only more than two times cheaper. The second is Oukitel K6. It has a lot of memory, good hardware and an excellent display.
So, today we talk about its main features and specifications. Let’s start with the performance.

Performance
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6763 chipset. Also it has another name – Helio P23. The chipset includes 8 cores with a frequency of up to 2 GHz.
As for the graphics, there is Mali-G71 MP2 with a maximum frequency of 770 MHz. This performance should be enough to play all modern 3D games on medium settings. However, we should wait for official release to see real performance. Also, we can say nothing about Helio P23 chipset, because there are no smartphone with this chipset yet.
Also, Oukitel K6 comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. So, you should not have any problems with perfomance and store personal files.
New Oukitel phone runs on Android 7.1. We don’t know about update to Android 8.0 Oreo.
Oukitel K6: Display
One of the main features of smartphone is 6 inch screen with resolution 2160 x 1080 pixels. From resolution FHD+ it is clear that we are dealing with 18:9 aspect ratio. The corners of the panel are neatly rounded.
Oukitel K6: Design
The smartphone will be packed in a body with a glossy coating, which is achieved, according to the manufacturer, with multi-stage surface treatment. You can see design and its elements in video below.
As you understand, the device comes in two colors: completely black and blue. Everything is standard here for Oukitel.
However, we were surprised by NFC. It means that buying Oukitel K6, you can use Android Pay, use subway maps, travel cards and so on. Many manufacturers do not want to produce budget phones with NFC. At least Oukitel hear its users. Well done!
Oukitel K6: Release date and price
At the moment we don’t know release date Oukitel K6 and its price. I think we will receive more information later this month. We think that release take place in January 2018. In any case, we will follow the news from the manufacturer and inform you about new smartphone.
