Oukitel K9 Design
The Chinese manufacturer decided to make a well-balanced smartphone. In previous years, Oukitel released mobile devices with good cameras, but bad performance, or vice versa – good performance, but bad cameras. Of course, Oukitel K9 is not a perfect smartphone, but it has full balance – good performance, cameras, battery, etc.
From other side, Oukitel K9 is a smartphone for people with large and strong hands. The weight and dimensions of this smartphone simply scream about this: 232 grams and 86.3 x 177.6 x 8.9 mm.
As you know, most manufacturers try to make a compact smartphone by increasing screen area. However, the size of Oukitel K9 is still large. By the way, display area of Oukitel K9 is 84%.
The smartphone is made of plastic. From one side, this is good, because the metal body would significantly increase the weight of smartphone. However, the back panel of Oukitel K9 has a glossy finish, so it collects fingerprints. Therefore, when buying Oukitel K9, we advise you to purchase a protective case.
The back panel of smartphone has dual camera and round fingerprint reader. On the front panel of Oukitel K9 is a huge display with waterdrop notch for the front camera.
Oukitel K9: Display
As we already said, the display is the main highlight of this smartphone. Most likely, you are interested in Oukitel K9, because of large display. 7.12-inch screen makes it a hybrid device. The screen is made by IPS technology.
Also, it is protected by glass with a special coating. The resolution is quite decent – 1080 x 2244 pixels. The display supports up to 5 simultaneous touches.
Oukitel K9: Performance
If we talk about performance of this big guy, it is powered by Helio P35 processor, which is an improved version of Helio P30.
As you may know, Helio P30 was a failed processor, and there were only few smartphones with this chipset. However, Helio P35 is an improved model, and we are full of optimism.
Helio P35 chipset is based on eight cores of Cortex A53 with a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz. The graphics core is PowerVR 8320. The chipset is built on 12-nm process technology. Helio P35 supports dual SIM with VoLTE and Face Unlock function.
As for the memory, there is 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. Oukitel K9 scores about 85000 scores in AnTuTu benchmark. It is a good result if we take into account the size of display and not the most powerful processor.

Oukitel K9: Camera
Oukitel K9 is definitely not a camera smartphone. Despite the fact that new smartphone supports AI technology, it is used to improve the post-processing of photos, while the image quality leaves to be much desired. It is not even software problem, but also the camera sensors.
The main camera is 16MP with f/2.0 aperture and an additional sensor with 2MP resolution for depth effect. The front camera is 8MP with f/2.2. Yes, the main sensor from Sony, but it is quite old. The front camera of Oukitel K9 does not have any special features – this is a classic selfie camera.
Oukitel K9: Battery
If the camera of Oukitel K9 doesn’t surprise us, then the battery life does. The smartphone has 6000mAh battery. It provides up to 3 days of battery life with average usage. Thanks to 12-nm processor and software optimization, Oukitel K9 does not lose the charge as quickly as, for example, similar models on 28-nm processors.
If you think that a large smartphone is charged for a long time, then you are mistaken. The manufacturer equipped the Oukitel K9 with fast charging 5V/6A. In just one hour, the smartphone charges up to 80%, and after an hour and a half it will have 100%.
