The government continues to look for ways to save on natural gas, the latest thinking is already concern the population of Ukraine. If natural gas consumption will be higher than the Ukrainians established norm, then all groups will pay for gas at market prices, which is 4 times higher than the current tariffs. Because of the desire of politicians to please the electorate in Ukraine have a unique situation where the prices for the population is much lower than for the industry. In international practice, the opposite is true. Therefore, this solution will be painful though, but still meets the conditions of a developed economy.
Also, the state is ready to compensate for 20% of the value of non-energy-efficient gas boiler. This will provide loans for the purchase of boilers in 33 thousand homes. The Government has allocated for this purpose 500 million hryvnia. Yet unknown mechanisms for the provision of such support, we hope that the word will be true.
For electricity generation using natural gas and coal, these two resources are now in short supply. Therefore, the country entered in separate areas of graphics trip. Since September 23 the same fate befall the Kiev region.
All the rules are introduced for one purpose, to avoid the purchase of natural gas to Russia at higher prices. To gain full independence by such actions, our country can not, but it will reduce gas consumption and expenditures by increasing tariffs for the population.
