Review Oppo F5: Bezel-less Phone we’re waiting for!
To be honest, no one expected big announcement from Chinese manufacturer Oppo. However, today it officially announced new smartphone Oppo F5 and it is amazing! No, seriously, I say without any sarcasm – it’s so good that I’m ready to buy it right now. It looks stylish, it has great specifications for its category and attractive price. So, let’s review Oppo F5, look at its specifications and features.
Oppo F5: Performance
As for performance Oppo F5, new smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 processor. The chipset runs on eight cores ARM Cortex-A53 with clock speed 2.5 GHz. You understand that this performance is enough to run any Android games, use various applications and enjoy it. Nothing to slow down or hang out, it’s a fact.
For the graphic component is ARM Mali-G71 MP2 controller. LTE Cat-7/13 modem is responsible for connecting to cellular network.
Also, new smartphone supports 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on model. The basic version has 32GB of storage, while model with 6GB RAM comes with 64GB of internal storage.
Oppo F5: Design
Yes, I understand that most modern smartphones look exactly like this: there is only display on front panel, a rear camera and fingerprint raeder. But, Oppo F5 has everything so beautiful and pretty that I fell in love with the first photo. On the front panel there is big display, and only on top and bottom there are small areas. The back side has minimalistic design: camera, fingerprint reader, company logo. That’s all! Yes, new Oppo smartphone looks fantastic.

Let’s start with the display, because it is the most interesting part for me. The diagonal of display Oppo F5 is 6 inches and resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The aspect ratio is 18:9, and resolution is now called FHD+.
We should say that company doesn’t follow with latest trends – there is no dual rear camera. The smartphone comes with single 16MP rear camera sensor and 20MP front camera.
OPPO F5 runs on Android 7.1 operating system with user interface ColorOS 3.2. Perhaps, it is the only drawback of this smartphone. We don’t like Chinese launchers, but it is possible that ColorOS is useful UI.
Conclusion
Now we will talk about last advantage OPPO F5 – its price. New smartphones is sold for $300 for basic model. Yes, it’s hard to believe, but you can buy flagship phone with 6 inch display, powerful hardware, high-quality camera and stylish design just for $300.
