Before us is the debut EP “Commercial Groove” Archangel garage-funk band, with a very unusual name-Pornograffitty. The first thought that comes to mind after reading the album tracklist – another domestic team that tries to parody and replay western classics of rock music. However, after listening to understand that the first impression is often deceptive. Despite a number of English-language track titles, all Russian-language texts, and the material is not uniform.
The technical component of the plate is made very worthy: qualitatively recorded live instruments, a great reduction of the tracks, skillfully-made and colorful arrangements. Lyric plate can not boast the same variety: the emphasis placed on the semantic component of the argument about love, hate, loneliness and finding your own way in this world “gray bondage Russian everyday life.” At the same time, just want to mention that the texts will not interfere with the album carry the listener more positive emotions than negative. The group is not trying to convince us how bad things, rather it wants to show that all you need to look a little bit easier, safer and more positive, and have your inner core.
In conclusion we note that the adult work before us, filled with childhood dreams and grown-up sense. Record that is unlikely to ever be released to the masses, but will leave a warm mark in the hearts of everyone who listens to her.
