Thecus N5810: network storage for 5 drives

Thecus has introduced a new model of network storage for 5 discs. The drive Thecus N5810 is equipped with a quad protsescorom Intel Celeron J1900 with 2 GHz and 4 GB of DDR 3, which, however, can be expanded up to 8 GB.

“NAS Thecus N5810 is the ideal solution for home and office, it is characterized by efficiency and productivity, as well as a wide range of features to meet the requirements of users in different segments,” – says about the new CEO Thecus Shi Florence (Florence Shih).

Model Thecus N5810 is able to provide the speed of reading the data, reaching 213 MB / s and write speeds up to 186 MB / s. NAS offers two Gigabit LAN ports and one output HDMI, and supports 7 modules aggregated links and received a failover mechanism that is responsible for data backup and sync with the backup device.

New runs on Thecus OS5, offers a variety of useful programs like VPN server, Kodi and supports VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix, Acronis, Intel Security, decision Snapshot using Btrfs, remote replication and backup to the cloud via Dropbox, Amazon S3 and Elephant Drive. A T-OnTheGo application allows access to data from mobile devices.

Deliveries of network drives Thecus N5810 will start at the end of November 2015.
