UMIDIGI One Max First REVIEW: only $179.99? Give me two!
A couple of weeks ago, UMIDIGI announced its new budget smartphone called UMIDIGI One Max. Looking at specifications, it looks like an updated version of UMIDIGI One Pro. So, what do you need to know about new smartphone? We will talk about main specifications and features in this article.
Umidigi One Max is a new generation smartphone with many interesting features, such as 6.3-inch screen and 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. By the way, the smartphone supports wireless charging and global LTE.

The Chinese manufacturers release good smartphones, and compete successfully with popular brands, such as Apple, Samsung, LG. Earlier the Chinese smartphones were copies of flagships, but now the companies from China introduce innovations even faster than the most famous manufacturers.
UMIDIGI One Max is one of those smartphones. It is interesting for buyers because of HD+ screen with a diagonal of 6.3 inches and waterdrop notch above the display. Also, the smartphone has stylish design, thanks to aluminum case and glass back panel.
As usual, there is dual main camera and flashlight on the rear panel. A little below is the company logo and some information about the smartphone.
3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C charging port and a speaker are located on the bottom edge.
The volume rocker and power button are on the right side. But where is the fingerprint scanner? This is another interesting feature of UMIDIGI One Max. The fingerprint scanner is built into the side of the smartphone. This is a very interesting design feature. We think it is more comfortable to use than rear fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone is available in black and twilight color options. Both of them look very beautiful. UMIDIGI One Max has a size of 15.68 x 7.56 x 0.84 cm and weight 205 grams.
The package content includes the smartphone, protective film for the screen, power adapter, needle for SIM card and USB Type-C charging cable.
Umidigi One Max: Performance
The smartphone is powered by Helio P23 processor with 4 Cortex-A53 cores up to 2.0 GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 cores up to 1.5 GHz. The graphics processor is ARM Mali-G71 MP2.
UMIDIGI One Max pleasantly surprises with its memory. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. As you know, usually smartphones with 128GB are very expensive, but you can buy UMIDIGI One Max for only $179.99. Interestingly, the memory can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.
Finally, we should note about 4G LTE global support. You can use even two 4G SIM cards simultaneously. The smartphone also supports 4G VoLTE. By the way, there is NFC. Even Xiaomi budget smartphones don’t have NFC, but One Max does.
Umidigi One Max: Camera
Under the waterdrop notch on the front panel is 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The selfoe camera has portrait mode. As for the main camera, it consists of two sensors: 12MP + 5MP OmniVision 12870 with f/2.0 aperture.
UMIDIGI One Max: Battery
The smartphone offers 4150mAh battery. The manufacturer claims that UMIDIGI One Max battery life is about two days on a single charge. Android 8.1 operating system is well optimized, so new smartphone has good energy efficiency.
However, the main features of Umidigi One Max are fast charging and wireless charging. The fast charge 18W allows to charge the smartphone battery from 0% to 80% in just 80 minutes. The wireless charging has 15W power, and it is also very fast.

It is difficult to find a competitor for UMIDIGI One Max in its price segment. The smartphone has a stylish glass design with waterdrop notch, a large 6.3-inch display with thin bezels, a powerful 4150mAh battery with fast and wireless charging support and a lot of memory 4GB+128GB.
