Vernee V2 Pro REVIEW: Is It Really Rugged Phone? (Deal: only $249.99)
The Chinese manufacturer Vernee very high ambitions. Their latest phones competes with popular brands, such as Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi and others. Although Vernee still far from A-brands, but the company releases very interesting products. In May 2018 Vernee introduced its new smartphone called Vernee V2 Pro.
This is rugged phone with four cameras and powerful battery. Can it compete with top flagships? Let’s take a closer look at features and specifications of new phone from Vernee V2 Pro.

Vernee V2 Pro: Design
Design is one of the main features of Vernee V2 Pro. It is rugged phone, but it doesn’t look like other rugged devices on the market. We are used that rugged phones are thick and heavy, buy not Vernee V2 Pro. The body is made of metal and polycarbonate.
The front panel is occupied byIPS display with diagonal of 5.99 inches and aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen has a resolution of 1080×2160 and pixel density of 403ppi. The display occupies about 71% of the front panel. The specifications provide excellent image quality, natural colors and high brightness.
You can notice small bezels on the top and bottom of front panel. The top panel is equipped with dual front camera, earpice, proximity and lighting sensors.
The back panel has an original texture. In the upper cetral part there is a vertical dual main camera, a flashlight and a fingerprint reader. The highlight of this smartphone is heart rate monitor, which is located next to the main camera. At the bottom of the back panel we see the company logo Vernee.
On the right side there are volume rocker and power button. On the left side is a special button to active function of saving battery.
As we already said, the smartphone does not look too thick or uncomfortable. Its size is 16.42 x 7.94 x 1.21 cm with a weight of 259 grams. The smartphone is available in two color options: black and red. But the difference is only in the color of side faces, while the back panel is unchanged.
The package includes: the smartphone, charger, USB cable and user’s manual. It is quite modest package as for rugged phone.
Vernee V2 Pro: Performance
Vernee V2 Pro received very decent specifications, such as octa core processor Mediatek Helio P23 at 2GHz and graphics accelerator Mali G71MP2. As for the memory, the smartphone has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory + microSD up to 128GB.
The storage will be enough for storing photos, games and music, while RAM and processor provides good performance for launching heavy apps and games.
Vernee V2 Pro runs on latest version of operating system Android 8.1. Moreover, it is equipped with Face Unlock function.
Of course, new phone is waterproof: IP68 standard provides immerse under the water up to 1.5 meters and even dropn on 6 sides without any damage. Also it works at a temperature from -30 to +60.
Among other advantages of this phone are GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BDS.

Another nice feature of new phone are two dual cameras. Vernee V2 Pro has 16MP main camera and 5MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture. As for front camera, there is 13MP + 5MP sensors with LED flash.
The smartphone taeks good photos in daylight. They are detailed and high quality. In low light, unfortunately, the quality of photos is reduced. However, this is problem of most modern smartphones.
Vernee V2 Pro: Battery
The device received an impressive battery capacity of 6200 mAh with fast charging fucntion. It will provide about nine hours of battery life with screen on. The full charge up to 100% takes about 150 minutes.

So, let’s sum up. Vernee V2 Pro is decent rugged smartphone with good performance, four cameras and powerful battery.
