A new sport watch called Haylou LS01 was launched today on Youpin platform. If you don’t know, Youpin is a crowdfunding platform for Chinese brands, particularly Xiaomi’s partners, to raise money for production of their new devices. Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is already supported by more than 45,000 people. It is amazing!
Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is the first smart watch from Haylou brand. Previously, the Chinese manufacturer made quite good and affordable wired and wireless headphones, Bluetooth earbuds and audio receivers.

Xiaomi Haylou LS01: Design
The new smart watch received a square dial, as Apple Watch. The strap is made of smooth silicone. The watch will be available in two colors: matte black and silver. However, on official images the silver color looks like white.
Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is definitely not a bulky watch. The size is only 40.9 x 35.7 x 11.6 mm. The weight is 34 grams. If you are interested, the strap width is 26 mm.
The new Haylou LS01 has a 1.3-inch display. This is a color TFT LCD screen with resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. The screen isn’t perfect, but I didn’t expect to see AMOLED display, given the price of new watch.
On the right side of the watch there is one physical button.
On the back panel, as usual, there is a heart rate sensor and a magnetic connector to charge the watch.
Xiaomi Haylou LS01 has a universal design, so the watch is perfect for both sporty, casual, and even classic clothing.

Xiaomi Haylou LS01: Functions
The new Haylou LS01 smart watch has many useful functions. Firstly, it counts steps, calories, distance, heart rate and sleep quality. Also, the watch has the function of stopwatch, alarm clock, activity reminder. Of course, it shows new notifications from social media or messengers.
9 different sports modes are available: walking, running outdoors, running on treadmill, hiking, cycling, fitness and yoga. As you know, these are the most popular sports, so the manufacturer has added these sports modes.
As for the sensors, Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is equipped with heart rate sensor and sleep monitor.
When you are asleep, the watch determines the sleep phases (light and deep), waking time and other conditions. Why is this necessary? By analyzing these data, the watch offers recommendations for improving sleep quality.
Haylou App
The first Haylou smart watch is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. To synchronize the watch and smartphone you need to download an application called Haylou App.
Once you connect the devices, Haylou LS01 will notify you of incoming calls and new notifications.
Another advantage of Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is IP68 water and dust protection. The watch is not afraid of dust or dirt, and it can be used in water under 1.5 meter up to 30 minutes.
Theoretically, you can swim with your watch in the pool (fresh water only), but the manufacturer does not recommend it.
The recommended temperature for using the smart watch is -20 to +45°C. Do not wear your watch at the North Pole or in the scorching desert.
Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is equipped with 210 mAh battery. The manufacturer promises up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

Xiaomi Haylou LS01 will go on sale on October 25th. Less than two weeks left to wait. The price in Chinese online shops will be only $15.
Of course, Haylou LS01 can’t boast of innovative design or features, but for just $15 you will get a stylish watch with a color display, 14 days of battery life, IP68 water and dust protection, heart rate monitor, pedometer, and other features.
Not surprisingly, Xiaomi Haylou LS01 has collected the necessary amount of money so quickly on a crowdfunding platform.
