Xiaomi Mi 9T Owners Are Very Disappointed After Upgrade To Android 10

The problems started after installing MIUI update to version 11.0.4.0, which includes Android 10 and January security patch.

Xiaomi Mi 9T owners have noticed that their smartphones are discharging too fast. Users say that when buying the smartphone in June, it ran for about 9-10 hours. After the latest update, the battery life is only 6-7 hours.

According to the settings report, the most energy-intensive process is the operating system itself. In some cases, operating system consumes more than 30% of battery level, which is extremely high.

How To Solve The Problem?

Some users recommend clearing the cache of all applications, disabling auto-start applications, limiting their running in background, and restarting the smartphone from time to time. However, not all of these tips help.

According to one of Xiaomi Mi 9T owners:

“I cleared the cache of all my apps, turned off autostart, turned off the camera startup with a power button, and restarted the Phone. Within 24 minutes of using a smartphone, the Battery level dropped from 100% to 87%. I did nothing, just watched youtube”.

Some people recommend to do a full factory reset, but this method doesn’t always work. The owners of Xiaomi Mi 9T are probably waiting for the next update.
