Xiaomi QCY T2S First REVIEW: 32 Hours of Battery Life!
The market of wireless earbuds is actively developing. We all love to listen to music or audio books on the road, while walking or playing sports. Wireless earbuds make these processes much more comfortable, because there are no longer any problems with randomly pulling the earphones out of the ears or confusion in the wires.
Many companies are expanding the range of wireless earbuds, and Xiaomi is one of the most active manufacturers on the market. Most likely, you already know about Redmi AirDots or 1More Stylish TWS. Recently, the Chinese company introduced another wireless earbuds called Xiaomi QCY T2S.

It seems that Xiaomi seriously took up the expansion of this series, since from the beginning of 2019 three new models of wireless earbuds from QCY series have already been presented. All of them are slightly different from each other.
In this article we will do the first review of wireless earbuds Xiaomi QCY T2S. As usual, let’s start with appearance.
Xiaomi QCY T2S: Design
The new earbuds look pretty simple. In fact, they are no different from the previous Q29 Pro and QCY T2. Thanks to the well-thought-out design, they are securely held in the ears, and at the same time do not cause discomfort during use. Also, they are great for sports.
The wireless earbuds comes with two pairs of interchangeable ear cushions of different sizes. You can choose the most convenient ear cushions for you, depending on the shape and size of the ear. Also there is a charging case, a user manual and a USB charging cable in the package.
On the outside of each earbud is a large button. It allows to start/stop music, switch a song or accept/reject a phone call. However, you will need to use a smartphone to change the volume; the earbuds don’t support volume control.
Next to the control button is a small LED. It shows the battery status or connection with smartphone. Each earbud has a microphone.
Now look at charging case. As for appearance, it is easier to understand which model of Xiaomi QCY wireless earbuds is in front of you. All wireless earbuds from this series differ in the shape of charging case.
Xiaomi QCY T2S has an oval-shaped charging case. The body is made of matte plastic. The front panel has a small button to open the case. Inside, we can see two compartments for earbuds with a magnetic connection.
On the back is a microUSB charging connector and a small LED indicator that shows the battery level. The size of charging case is 77.8 x 37.9 x 32 mm. It fits easily in your pocket.
Xiaomi QCY T2S earbuds are available in two colors: black and white. The case matches the color of the earbuds. The size of one earbud is 24 x 20 mm and the weight is 4.6 grams. They are very light and almost invisible in the ears.
Xiaomi QCY T2S: Specifications
Using QCY T2S wireless earbuds is quite simple and convenient. They are automatically turned on as soon as the user takes them out of the charging case. They also turn off by themselves if you put them back in the charging case. Earbuds are automatically connected to the last device with which they were connected.
Xiaomi QCY T2S are synchronized with mobile devices via Bluetooth 5.0. The latest Bluetooth version provides a more stable connection compared to previous Bluetooth versions. This is especially important if you often have to answer calls with wireless earbuds. The transmission distance is 10 meters.
By the way, you can use any of the earbuds for phone calls, as each of them has a microphone.
Xiaomi QCY T2S are equipped with noise reduction system. Extraneous sounds do not interfere with listening to music and talking on the phone.
New Xiaomi wireless earbuds are powered by Reltek v5.0 processor. The chipset provides a fairly clear sound, but do not expect stunning sound from budget earphones. In any case, as for its price, Xiaomi QCY T2S have excellent sound.
As for the battery, each QCY T2S earphone is equipped with 43mAh battery. The earbuds last up to 4 hours on a single charge. If you listen to music or talk on the phone through a single earbud, then you can count on 8 hours of battery life.
The charging case has 800mAh battery. After simple mathematical calculations, we found out that the charging case is able to charge the earbuds 8-9 times. Now we multiply the battery life of the earbuds by the number of possible recharges through the charging case, and we get 32 hours of battery life. Excellent result!
By the way, wireless earbuds support the function of wireless charging. However, the wireless charging base will have to be bought additionally.
Xiaomi QCY T2S: Price
Now you can buy Xiaomi QCY T2S wireless earbuds for only $30. In my opinion, this is a fair price for ergonomic noise-canceling wireless earbuds with support for Bluetooth 5.0, convenient music control and 32 hours of battery life.
If you need wireless earbuds for everyday use, Xiaomi QCY T2S is a good option.
