XIDU PhilPad Updated Version 2019 – The New Processor and More Memory

XIDU released the updated version of its popular tablet – XIDU PhilPad. It is a little strange, but the new tablet has the same name as the previous model – XIDU 13.3” 2-in-1 PhilPad. You should pay attention to CPU and storage, because these are the main updates in the tablet.

Design

Although XIDU PhilPad 2-in-1 Tablet looks like any other tablets on the market, it has some advantages in design. First, it is equipped with metal body. As you know, XIDU laptops are also made of metal.

XIDU PhilPad is not a compact tablet, because it has 13.3-inch display. It’s really big, that’s why the manufacturer calls it a laptop on Amazon. However, we know that it is a tablet.

We should talk about display, because it is one of the main features of XIDU PhilPad tablet. As we already said, it has a diagonal of 13.3 inches. The resolution if 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Of course, the screen is touch-screen because it is a tablet. A tablet without a touch-screen is not a tablet. You don’t need a touchpad or mouse, just use your fingers to control Windows 10 operating system. You can also use the stylus pen to write on the screen. It is very comfortable.

Hardware

Haven’t you forgotten what we talked about the updated version of XIDU PhilPad tablet? If everything we talked about before is the same on the old and new version of the tablet, then the hardware has been changed.

First, the new version of XIDU PhilPad has received new processor. This is Intel E3950 Quad Core processor instead of Intel N3350 Dual Core chipset. The next update is 128GB of eMMC memory. We want to recall that the first version of XIDU PhilPad tablet had 64GB of eMMC memory. The amount of RAM hasn’t changed – 6GB.

That’s all updates of new tablet. We understand that a new processor and more internal memory is not enough updates to call it the second generation or give it another name, but XIDU Company could call it something else, at least to add Updated Version to the name.

Anyway, when you will buy a tablet, please pay attention to the processor. There is no point in buying the old version, because the new tablet has the same price. I think XIDU PhilPad is a good tablet for students or office workers. The keyboard allows you to make a real laptop from the tablet.
