LEMFO ELF2 First REVIEW: $55 Clone of Amazfit GTR

We have already written many times about smartwatches and fitness bracelets from LEMFO. You can read our review of LEMFO LEM T smartwatch with a huge OLED screen and 5MP camera, LEMFO LEM10, which is competitor to Apple Watch and LEMFO C10 fitness bracelet with stylish design and 15 days of battery life.

In this article we will talk about the new smartwatch called LEMFO ELF2. The watch has a universal design with a brown strap and a round 1.3-inch display. LEMFO ELF2 monitors heart rate, blood oxygen level and blood pressure. It lasts for 8 days of a single charge.

This is the first review of LEMFO ELF2. Later we will try to get the smartwatch for unboxing and full review.

LEMFO ELF2: Design

We think the Chinese manufacturer was inspired by the design of Xiaomi Amazfit GTR when creating LEMFO ELF2. The new LEMFO smartwatch has the same brown strap, round display and ceramic bezel around the screen.

We don’t think that copying is bad, because Amazfit GTR is really stylish watch, and it is not surprising that LEMFO peeped the design from its Chinese competitor.

LEMFO ELF2 is a rather large watch: 265 x 47 x 12 mm. We think it will look bulky on a woman’s hand. The watch weight is 65 grams.

LEMFO ELF2 is only available with a brown strap and a silver case. By the way, the strap is made of TPU, which consists of durable plastic and flexible silicone. The strap length is 22 cm. The case is metal.

On the front panel there is a large 1.3-inch screen. This is IPS panel with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The display is very bright, good contrast and detail.

The watch does not have physical buttons, because the control is completely touch-sensitive.

Around the screen is a thin frame with Roman numerals.

On the rear panel are sensors for measuring blood pressure, heart rate and the amount of oxygen in the blood. There are also magnetic connections for charging smartwatch.

By the way, LEMFO ELF2 are protected against water according to IP67 standard. You can wash your hands or be in the rain for hours, but the manufacturer does not recommend swimming in the pool.

LEMFO ELF2: Specifications

The new watch is powered by RTK8762C processor with 128 MB of RAM. We already met this energy-efficient processor in smartwatches from manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Bakkey.

LEMFO ELF2 are equipped with a built-in 240mAh battery. One charge is enough for 5 days of active use or 8 days in standby time. This is a good battery life for smartwatches with a large touch screen and various sports functions.

A full battery charge takes about 2 hours.

Fitcloudpro App

LEMFO ELF2 is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.4 or iOS 8.2 and higher. To connect the watch to your smartphone, you need to download an app called Fitcloudpro. The app is available on Google Play Store or App Store.

In the application settings you can change the main dial of the watch.

By the way, smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connection.

LEMFO ELF2: Functions

Now let’s talk about functions. LEMFO ELF2 counts steps, calories, distance, time and date. You can also use the alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, control the smartphone’s camera, receive notifications from social media, incoming calls and messages.

One of the main features of the new ELF2 watch is the support of sensors for measuring heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen and sleep.

As for sports modes, there are only six of them: running, cycling, swimming, hiking, exercise bike and yoga.

Do you know what is strange? LEMFO ELF2 has a swimming sport mode, but you cannot swim with the watch. It seems that the Chinese manufacturer is a bit confused. At first, LEMFO does not recommend swimming with the watch, but at the same time they add a swimming mode.

LEMFO ELF2 smartwatch is available on Aliexpress and Banggood for $55. This is a pre-order, so the price is slightly lower than retail.
