The process of demolition and construction waste recycling is time consuming and that is much more important – is not environmentally friendly. Most often, after the demolition of the building remaining debris just goes to landfill. Process it, and especially transport – is problematic and unprofitable. For this reason, easier to destroy and dump from one pile to another, somewhere far away.
Swedish student named Omer Hakiomeroglu offered an innovative way to demolition. Do, in his opinion, it is possible by means of special robots, which will dissolve concrete blocks, separating concrete from rebar and packaging it in special bags. As a result, the robot from the blocks will remain a fixture, which can work to dismantle conventional methods.
Robot created by a student, was named ERO. The basis of operation of the apparatus is based on several techniques, including the technique of the vacuum pump. Using pressure water and vacuum robot literally resolves concrete, turning it into a substance like semolina. Later this substance can be easily transported in a heavy-duty paper bags and disposed of or recycled to send, then you can create new building materials.
Student project strongly interested in several large companies. Actually ERO – this is not one robot, and a set of robots that work together. To ensure the recycling process of reinforced concrete structures must be connected to the ERO special station support, which creates the necessary pressure and ensures that all processes. An interesting detail is the fact that the ERO «intelligent” robot and is able to determine the route “cleaning” of reinforced concrete structures.
