Alibaba is testing a system Smile to Pay, which will pay for goods by presenting a face

How the system works is quite simple: the Smile to Pay takes shots user’s face from different angles. After processing the data obtained, the algorithm stores the created image and will continue to compare it with any received. After that, the user will need only show his face to the camera, as the system will perform what is required of her.

Smile to Pay now is in beta stage. Its creators have not yet disclose any significant details. In particular, the creators of the system yet said nothing about its reliability. We only know that the technology will be available exclusively to customers Alipay.
