Beelink BT3-X: Design

BT3-X has almost the same design as most other mini PCs. The device is made of aluminum alloy in rectangle shape. Beelink BT3-X is available only in gray color with red X logo. We should note that the body is completely matte, so it will not collect fingerprints.

The size of new mini PC is 115 x 105 x 45 mm, and the weight is 223 grams. Yes, you can find a smaller mini PC, but Beelink BT3-X has a good cooling system, so its size is slightly larger than usual.

As we already said, there is red X logo on the top. The front panel has a physical power button, as well as two USB 3.0 ports and 3.5 mm jack for headphones and audio system.

The side panels are covered with gratings for air intake and computer cooling. On the right side you can find a slot for TF memory cards up to 2 TB.

The main part of the connectors is located on the rear panel. Here we see two USB 3.0 ports, LAN, 2 HDMI and DC connector. There is another grill for hot air. Thanks to a large number of interfaces, the user can connect an external monitor (even two), a sound system, a keyboard, a mouse, and other devices to Beelink BT3-X.

Beelink BT3-X package includes a user manual, two HDMI cables, a mount for installing a mini PC on the wall, a set of screws and a power adapter.

Beelink BT3-X: Specifications

Mini PC runs on Intel Apollo Lake J3355 dual-core processor. The performance was increased by 58% compared to Atom X5-Z8350 processor, which was used in the previous version of mini PC – Beelink BT3 Pro. Intel HD Graphics 500 graphics processor is passively cooled.

By the way, Intel Apollo Lake J3355 is a processor with low power consumption, which is a big advantage over desktop computers.

As for the memory, Beelink BT3-X has 64 GB of internal memory. As we wrote earlier, you can expand it with a memory card up to 2TB. It’s amazing, especially considering that the previous model – Beelink BT3 Pro – supported expandable memory only up to 128GB.

Beelink BT3-X runs on Windows 10 operating system. We think this OS needs no introduction, because most computers and laptops run on Windows 10. Mini PC supports launching and playing 3D games and even 3D video.

The device supports wireless Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz. Moreover, you can simultaneously connect to two Wi-Fi networks for more stable and faster access to Internet.
