Preview gaming laptop Acer Predator 17X with support for virtual reality

Acer has announced a number of interesting new products, among which stands out the gaming laptop Acer Predator 17X with a powerful stuffing, central to which is allocated Intel Core i7 processor sixth generation (i7-6820HK), complemented graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 desktop level (optional).

The laptop has a 17.3 “display, the resolution of which depends on the configuration of 1920×1080 or 3840×2160 pixels. It supports up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM. And one of its features was a new cooling system with three fans, due to which the laptop’s processor can be overclocked to 4 GHz.

Acer Predator 17X was quite powerful laptop that can work with virtual reality devices, including the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. It is equipped with a port USB Type-C interface Thunderbolt 3, HDMI and the DisplayPort, as well as Killer DoubleShot Ethernet function allows to combine the bandwidth Ethernet-channel and wireless Wi-Fi connection.

The Acer Predator 17X provides the ability to install up to three SSDs NVMe PCIe, united in an array of SATA-SSD RAID 0. Its keyboard is equipped with RGB-color backlit programmable keys. Novelty has dimensions of 423 x 321,5 x 44,95 mm and weighs 4.55 kg. And its battery lasts only 3 hours of battery life, which is not surprising, given such a powerful “iron”.

Notebooks Acer Predator 17X will appear on the European market in June this year, and the cost starts from 2500 euros.
