However, most people buy budget phones. It is quite possible that Huawei will take the first place among the manufacturers of budget smartphones in 2019. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019: Design
The smartphone was created by the latest trends. The front panel has a large 6-inch display. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 has a waterdrop notch above the display, and Huawei logo on the bottom. This is budget smartphone, but it still looks stylish.
The back panel of Huawei Y6 Pro is quite standard. There is rear camera and flash. As you can see, the phone doesn’t have fingerprint sensor, but you can use Face Unlock. Also, Huawei new phone has only single main camera, but not dual.
The back cover has a texture – for some reason Huawei decided to make it similar to the skin. A very ambiguous decision, but we don’t see any sense. The user will use silicone protective case anyway.
The control buttons are located on the right side. There are no surprises.
Dimensions of Huawei Y6 Pro are quite compact – 73.5 x 156.28 x 8 mm. It is very comfortable to use with one hand. As for the colors, the smartphone is available in two color options: blue and black.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019: Display
As we already wrote earlier, the display has a waterdrop notch. The screen resolution is HD+, while diagonal is 6.1-inches. The panel of Huawei Y6 Pro is IPS.
There is a rounded protective glass at the top of the screen. HD resolution is good for using the smartphone. Yes, we would like to have Full HD, but this is a budget smartphone.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019: Performance
As for performance, the smartphone looks pretty good. Huawei Y6 Pro is powered by quad-core chipset from MediaTek with a frequency of 2GHz and graphics accelerator PowerVR Rogue GE8300.
There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory. In practice the performance is very good for budget smartphone.
Huawei Y6 Plus scores about 65.000 points in AnTuTu Benchmark. The user interface of Huawei smartphone runs stable and fast. However, you should not run heavy tasks. Y6 Pro 2019 is not a gaming smartphone. This is a phone for surfing the Internet, casual games and simple apps.
The battery in Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 has a capacity of only 3200mAh. There is no NFC and other features on board. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019: Camera
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 smartphone has a good 13MP main camera with decent aperture f/1.8. The front camera is also pretty good – it has 8MP sensor. The photo quality is very decent, but it is better to use Google camera app.

However, there is one import thing about Huawei device. Huawei always cares about how its smartphones look like. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 looks more expensive than it actually is, although performance and features are quite poor.
