IFA 2015. Announcement of processors Intel Skylake-S
Intel officially introduced line of processors for desktop PCs Skylake-S. We have already met with the models Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K, and now the family has replenished eighteen CPU. All new chipsets compatible with Z170, H170 and B170 and boast support for memory DDR4.
Among the new products can be seen CPU Core i7-6700, the characteristics of which coincide with the Core i7-6700K, except that this processor deprived unlocked multiplier and working on a little less high frequencies. The same is true for the Core i5-6600, similar Corei5-6600K. All Core i7 processors received 8 MB cache in the third level, and Core i5 – 6 MB. The range also includes three dual-core Core i3 and three Pentium.
Also, Intel processors represents TDP, equal to just 35 watts. These include, for example, the model Core i7-6700T, operates at a frequency of 2.8 / 3.6 GHz and has 8 MB cache in the third level. Processors Core i5, as well as less-efficient counterparts, got 6 MB cache.
In addition, the company announced a mobile line Skylake-U, Skylake-H, Skylake-H Xeon and Skylake-Y, which should be released in the coming months. All processors will have 500 HD graphics with support for DirectX 12. These solutions are designed to bring mobile segment improved performance and support for DDR4.
