Is Motorola P50 the same Motorola One Vision?

This smartphone is not a revolution. This is quite an ordinary mobile device, but we think it will be very popular. If you look at Motorola activities, the manufacturer has already released a similar smartphone a month ago, but for the US and European market. We are talking about Motorola One Vision.

Motorola P50: Design

One of the main features of Motorola P50 is 21:9 aspect ratio. Yes, it is damn long! Although today there are many smartphones with full bezel-less displays, the smartphone from Motorola uses hole-punch display. The hole is located in the upper left corner. It hides 25MP front camera.

The rear panel of P50 is made of glass, and it is covered by Gorilla Glass 4. It protects the smartphone from damage after falls. We want to note that phone is very slippery.

If we continue to talk about ergonomics, we should note that smartphone is rather thick and heavy. The weight of Motorola P50 is 181 g, while the thickness is 8.7 mm. In addition, we are sure that you will use the silicone protective case, so the smartphone will be very thick.

On the back of Motorola smartphone, you can find fingerprint reader, dual camera and flashlight. Let’s talk about camera in details.

Motorola P50: Camera

The main camera of Motorola P50 has a resolution of 48-megapixels, while the second sensor is 5MP. The additional sensor is used for depth effect and optical image stabilization.

We should also note that P50 uses Quad Pixel technology. It combines four pixels into one for the better photos in low-light conditions.

The smartphone records video in 4K at 60 frames per second.

Motorola P50: Performance

As we already said, the smartphone is powered by Samsung chipset. This is mid-range Exynos 9606 processor. It consists of eight cores, four of which are Cortex-A73 with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz, while the other four are energy-efficient Cortex-A53.

The processor is supported by Mali-G72 MP3 graphics. The chipset is energy-efficient, because it is built on 10-nm process technology.

If we look at AnTuTu benchmark, Motorola P50 has about 160,000 points, which is a good result. The phone also has 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB for internal memory. As you understand, the latest Android games are not the problem for this smartphone.

Motorola P50: Battery

Perhaps, the only drawback of this phone is battery. It has a capacity of only 3500mAh. From other side, Motorola P50 support fast charging. The manufacturer promises full battery charge 100% in only 60 minutes.

If we are talking about wireless interfaces, then Motorola new phone has Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wave 2, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC (for the European version). The main connector for transferring data and charging is USB Type-C 2.0.

The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 operating system.
