Premiere «Grace of Monaco» in the States again postponed
Studio Weinstein brothers TWC cleaned calendar releases movie Daan Olivier «Grace of Monaco». Picture of Grace Kelly featuring Nicole Kidman was supposed to leave in U.S. theaters on March 14, but the distributors decided not to release the tape at this time. The new date has been set for the premiere.
This is the second transfer premiere «Grace of Monaco». Originally biographical film was released in November 2013th , but in late September 2013th Harvey Weinstein moved the film in the spring of 2014 , citing the fact that post-production requires more time . In addition, in the race for the “Oscar” and so too closely , said Harvey.
However, the director different perspective. In an interview with the French newspaper Olivier Dahan complained that American producers want to change his film : “Creative differences – a common occurrence , but when your opponent – American distributors like Weinstein , in this case, nothing can be done .” Daan also said : ” There are two versions of the film – and my , I think monstrous .”

He cut «Gangs of New York», despite the protests of Martin Scorsese , reduced “Hero” Zhang Yimou’s almost half an hour , fought with producer Scott Rudin for the final version of the drama “The Hours.” He recently made the creators of the drama “August” and alter the final cut 20 minutes from the American version of the film rolling Pona Chung Ho «Snowpiercer». The Guardian critic Peter Bradshaw calls producer butcher. Sam Harvey stud Scissorhands sees nothing offensive .
Insiders say that Weinstein handed Daan list of requirements , and because the company has no creative control over the project (TWC acts only as a note that the car ) , and then remount the “Princess” brothers are not eligible. The question arises : what “their version” says the director ? But we assume that it is a variant which sees Harvey.
Instead «Grace of Monaco» March 14 TWC will release in the U.S. comic melodrama «One Chance».
