Regardless of the economy, the number of wealthy Russians is growing

Despite the slowdown in the economy and growth in Russia, the number of wealthy families continues to grow. Last year dollar millionaires became more than 30 thousand Russian families. Their number has increased over the year from 180 to 213.3 thousand, – experts TeleTrade.

If we talk about the percentage, the number of wealthy families with a million state is 0.4% of all households. This proportion is significantly less than in other countries with a comparable number of owners of large fortunes. For example, in the Netherlands the figure is 3% in Hong Kong – 9.6%. To date, the leader of the rankings remain the U.S. with index 5.9%. It is noteworthy that the fastest state in Russia increased in size from $ 5 million to $ 100 million.

According to experts TeleTrade, Russia has a very high concentration of capital. If the count on the number of millionaire households, the Russian Federation ranks 13th in the world, but by the number of households with the ultra-rich state over $ 100 million – the fifth place. Their number has increased over the past year by 14%. Growing prosperity richest families in Russia occurred not so much due to the development of the national economy, as by increasing the stock price, which is traded on world financial markets.
