Helio X30, like the previous option from Mediatek, consists of ten cores, including such new solutions as high-performance Cortex-A73 with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz, as well as energy-efficient Cortex-A35 with a frequency of up to 1.9 GHz.
New CorePilot 4.0 resource allocation technology is used to control the power of all three clusters. It allows you to select the appropriate cores depending on the temperature and the manipulations you perform to solve problems. In addition, it is worth noting that Helio X30 supports a new standard of RAM LPDDR4X, which operates in dual-channel mode at a frequency of up to 1866 MHz.
Unlike Helio X20 / X25, new Helio X30 does not use graphics accelerator Mali. It was replaced by a good graphics PowerVR 7XTP-MT4. It is more powerful than Mali-T880 in 2.5 times, while the power consumption is lower by 60%.
So, Helio X30 can change the fate of Mediatek, as it will be suitable for gaming, which means that more and more manufacturers will pay attention to it. Bluboo S8 Performance
