Review of the series “Dominion. Season 1”
When God suddenly disappeared, the angels filled the land. Under the leadership of the Archangel Gabriel, they moved into the human body and began to destroy all the people who they are not useful. Only one archangel Michael ( Tom Wisdom ) stood on the side of humanity. He helped the survivors to build walls around the city and to equip them with anti-aircraft guns and machine guns. And he hid from angels and men Favorites – baby born at the beginning of the war, who is destined to put an end to the confrontation between Heaven and Earth. At least Luke was cool the Jedi sword, and he jumped like a grasshopper. Alex is in a battle waving boring steel sword and even more boring “Glock” and he has no superpowers but gains by the end of the season and surprisingly useless skill angels cast out of human bodies. The rest of the Lennon – muscled copy Skywalker, boring and not particularly well-wisher enterprising without a sense of humor, and follow his adventures only slightly more pleasant and interesting than the rip teeth without anesthesia. And the angels in ” Supernatural “more entertaining than the straight winged heroes and villains of the new show.
“Dominion” is the sequel to the fantastic horror 2010 “Legion”, which tells about the invasion of the angels and the birth of the Chosen One. As the film and TV series were invented written and directed by Scott Stewart
Fortunately, in the first season of “Dominion” Alex, though the plot is important, but, in fact, a minor character. Head “burn” especially bright – he alone makes the first season of “Dominion” worthwhile.
What else is worth mentioning in the discussion of “Dominion”? His theology is primitive, but it is more beautiful and glamorous than the ” Call “and the other post-apocalyptic series SyFy. Its effects do not hit, but do not cause disgust, and “nudity” in the show is much less than one would suspect, anticipating reading series ominous warnings about inappropriate content for children. The same “Game” in this context where uninhibited. So the only indisputable advantage of the show – “scandals, intrigues, investigation” Vega by charismatic stars.
