The device has a compact and stylish design. It has a shape of vertically oriented rectangle. The dimensions are 101 × 36 × 36 mm and weight 180 grams. The manufacturer does not give a choice in color options. The camera comes only in black color.
The front and back sides are made of matte plastic, while the side faces have a glossy finish.
There is a lens and a microphone on the front panel. The second lens, speaker grill and USB port for powering the camera are on the rear panel. On the lower side we see a standard tripod mount and SD card slot.

The camera has received two multidirectional optical sensors. Each of them has a lens with viewing angle of 210 degrees and aperture f/2.0. The graphics processor automatically combines two images from both sensors. Thanks to this, Xiaomi Hualai Хiaofang Panoramic IP Camera gives you 360 degree image in real time. It is one of the main difference of new Xiaomi camera compared to other IP cameras.
In addition, the sensors of the cameras do not depend on each other. They can simultaneously shoot in different angles.
Perhaps the only drawback of Xiaomi camera is the lack of built-in battery.
As for the video recording, it has a resolution of 1024 X 2048 pixels and a frame rate of 15 FPS. Thebuilt-in speaker and microphone provide two-way communication in real time. The user can use Wi-Fi network to contact a person who is far from the camera.
Also there are some other features of Xiaomi Hualai Xiaofang Panoramic IP Camera. First, it is equipped with IR sensors for shooting at night. Night shooting is able in a radius of up to 5 meters.
Secondly, there are motion sensors. The camera will be an excellent assistant in security system. If the camera captures any motions, it automatically starts recording a Full HD video of 10 seconds and sends a notification to the owner’s smartphone.
The device is synchronized with Mi Home app, which is available in any language. It will help much to use the camera. There is also a function for viewing the entire room on a single screen.
