Editor-in-Chief of XDA Developers – Max Weinbach – continues to reveal details about Samsung’s new flagship smartphone.
The new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will have the main image sensor with 108MP resolution. This is a special version of sensor, which is different from the sensor of the same resolution that debuted last year on Xiaomi Mi Note 10 smartphone.
The Problems of 108MP Camera in Xiaomi Mi Note 10
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 users know that the smartphone delays for a second while switching the resolution from 108MP to 27MP. It also takes some time to process the captured image at 108 megapixels.
The rumors say that Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone will not have any delays. Max Weinbach reported that new Samsung smartphone will take pictures with a resolution of 108 megapixels without any delay.
The information was confirmed by another reputable insider under the name Ice Universe.
The Aspect Ratio is 4:3 in 108MP Resolution
There is also information that the photos will have 4:3 aspect ratio in maximum resolution. If you choose 16:9 aspect ratio, the frame will be cropped from the top and bottom, so the final resolution will be lower.
By the way, we also know about 10x optical zoom in Galaxy S20 Ultra.
As for other features, it is known that Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will get a large AMOLED 6.9-inch display. The screen will have 2K resolution and refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The smartphone will be equipped with 4900 mAh battery.
Another interesting feature is IP68 water and dust protection. The manufacturer says that new smartphone can be submerged in water to a depth of 5 meters. However, the body of the Galaxy S20 Ultra will remain slim and easy to use with one hand.
The Price of Galaxy S20 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will be the most expensive smartphone from Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The basic version will cost $1110. If you want more memory, then the price will be higher.
