Dell has unveiled its new Android-tablet Venue 8 7000 with an unusual appearance that immediately identifies a novelty among competitors.
On three sides of the plate has a very narrow framework, and below the screen is a large stereo speaker and front camera lens. The manufacturer claims that the Dell Venue 8 7000 is the thinnest in the world, as its shell thickness over the entire surface is only 6 mm.
Dell Venue 8 7000 received a 8.4-inch OLED-display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels (359 ppi), quad-core Intel Atom Z3500 Moorefield, which can operate at a frequency of 1.6 to 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory plus a slot for microSD- cards and a 2-megapixel front camera. On the back side of the plate has three photo module: the main 8 megapixel camera and two auxiliary, which are responsible for determining the depth of the image and the size of objects. In the tablet technology is used RealSense company Intel, which allows you to create not only 3D-images, but also supports the management of gestures.
The price of Dell Venue 8 7000 is not yet known, but there is information that the tablet will go on sale later this year.
