Voyo Vbook i3 REVIEW: Budget Version of Microsoft Surface of 2018
Voyo releases new 10.1-inch tablet called Vbook i3, which looks very interesting. It is powered by latest chipset Intel Atom X5-Z8350, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Voyo Vbook i3: Design
First of all, I want to note that Voyo Vbook i3 is designed not only as laptop or regular tablet, it also supports pencils and erasers. It is copies the main functions of Microsoft Surface concept with its large display size, adaptive keyboard and additional stylus. You may think that the name “i3” means that new tablet is powered by Intel Core i3 processor, however, it is not so.
Voyo Vbook i3: Hardware
I cannot say that Voyo VBook i3 has high performance, however this is enough for everyday tasks. Atom X5-Z8350 becomes obsolete, however it is still good for emails, surfing internet, watching movies. Moreover, 8GB of RAM provides smooth and fast multitasking. If you want to launch spreadsheet or word, publish large PDF file, or even play not the latest 3D game, Atom X5 will be good.
Also, there is 128GB of MMC storage. It allows you to install and use different apps.
The display is quite standard for modern Chinese tablets. There is 10.1-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is a perfect display for this chipset.
Also, Voyo Vbook i3 is equipped with dual-band 802.11AC WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. In addition, there is a special version of tablet with support for 4G networks and SIM card slot. There is no information about the price of 4G version Voyo Vbook i3, however, I think that it is a big advantage, because you can use internet wherever you want.
Voyo Vbook i3 is a big tablet, but you can use external power bank to charge it, which is a very good point for anyone looking for the device with very long battery life. However, there is no video output, and you can use only USB Type-C port.
The keyboard is qwerty, and it connects additionally with a special magnetic clip. Also it is powered by pogo plug. The connection between the keyboard and Voyo VBook i3 is via Bluetooth, and the plug is used only for power the keyboard. It doesn’t have the built-in battery.
Another accessory is an active stylus with 2048 levels of pressure for drawing or notes on Voyo VBook i3.
By the way, the tablet weighs 600 grams, or about 859 grams with the keyboard.

The tablet comes with 2MP front-facing webcam, while on the back there is 5-megapixels camera. As for available connectors, there are built-in microSDXC card reader, as well as MicroUSB port and USB 3.0 type port. MicroSD port is located at the top of the body.

The battery life is still unknown, because the battery capacity is from 5000 to 6000 mAh. It is very strange that we know all details about tablet, except battery. Perhaps, the reason of the different tablet versions.
