Xiaomi Amazfit Bip 2: Release Date, Price and Latest Rumors
Xiaomi Amazfit Bip was released more than a year ago. Many fans of this brand are already looking forward to the next version of smartwatch – Xiaomi Amazfit Bip 2. The first rumors said that Huami planned to releasea new gadget in July 2018. Then it was announced that the presentation was scheduled for September 17, the three-year anniversary of the company.

The presentation took place, and new gadgets were presented. However, we haven’t seen Xiaomi Amazfit Bip 2 among new products. At this event, Huami released a new Amazfit Verge smartwatch, the updated Health Band 1S fitness bracelet and new Huangshan No. 1 smart watch processor.

The confirmation of developing Amazfit Bip 2 was found in Mi Fit app. The developers team AndroidTR say that they found details about new Amazfit smartwatch in official Xiaomi sources, so this is not just a rumor.
First, the developers found the list of devices, and discovered an unknown device called DongTingHu. After analyzing the code of this device, the developers understood that it is Amazfit Bip 2.
In addition to the name itself, it was found some specifications that differ from Amazfit Bip. One of them is a new GPS sensor from Sony.
Also, there is information about accelerometer, a compass, a heart rate sensor and NFC with support of Ali Pay payment system. Also, Amazfit Bip 2 will have new sport mode, which recently appeared in fitness band Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with the latest update.
We also found the multilanguage support, such as English, Spanish, Russian, and icons for music player control. However, we still don’t know will it be able to play music or not.
AndroidTR team also found Amazfit Bip 2 image. At first glance, there are no differences between Amazfit Bip and Amazfit Bip 2. The only difference is the button on the right side of the case. It has changed a little. Judging by the shades, the texture of the material of the devices may also differ slightly.
Actually, that’s all we know about Amazfit Bip 2 today. However, blindly trusting this information is probably not worth it. The manufacturer itself did not report anything about the release date of Amazfit BIP 2.
