Xiaomi QCY T5 First REVIEW: We’ve Been Waiting For These Wireless Earbuds!

Almost every month Xiaomi produces new wired and wireless earbuds. Most of the new earphones are successful because of their budget price and excellent features.

As you can see, Xiaomi often releases new products together with its sub-brands. One of the well-known sub-brands is QCY.

The latest QCY wireless earphones are Xiaomi QCY T5. Looking at specifications, this is an improved version of the previous model Xiaomi QCY T3.

Xiaomi QCY T5 received an ergonomic design, touch control, noise reduction technology CVC 6.0, Bluetooth 5.0 support and battery life of up to 5 hours on a single charge. Of course, like other Xiaomi devices, the new earbuds have a very attractive price.

Xiaomi QCY T5: Design

Xiaomi QCY T5 earphones have a stylish design. They are suitable for both official and sportswear.

The wireless earbuds have rubber ear cushions and long legs. Each earbud weighs only 4.3 grams, making it almost imperceptible in the ear.

The earphones are made of ABS plastic and come in black color only.

On the inside of earbuds there are two magnetic connectors for charging, as well as a speaker.

The outer side is smooth. There is touch button to control the earbuds, LED and microphone.

By the way, the microphone is as close to your mouth as possible so the person you are talking to can hear you well when you are on the phone. You should pay attention to mic quality when choosing wireless earphones if you make a lot of calls.

At the front are two LEDs. They say about battery level.

On the back panel, as usual, there is microUSB port.

By the way, Xiaomi QCY T5 earbuds are protected from water by IPX5 standard. You don’t have to be afraid of sweat or droplets of water while walking or running in the rain.

Xiaomi QCY T5 is a wireless TWS earphones.

Thanks to DSP technology and CVC 6.0 noise reduction built into Xiaomi QCY T5 earphones, you and your conversation partner can only hear clear sound during a conversation, not the noise of cars or conversations with passers-by.

The earbuds are equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 technology. Using it the earphones are connected to mobile devices. We should note about low latency, which is very important for watching videos on YouTube and games.

The maximum distance between Xiaomi QCY T5 and connected device should not exceed 10 meters.

As we already said, Xiaomi QCY T5 is controlled via the touch buttons on each of earbuds. You can play or stop the music, switch the song, receive and reject the call, and adjust the volume.

Each Xiaomi QCY T5 earbud is equipped with 40mAh battery. The single charge is enough for 4-5 hours of listening to music or phone calls.

It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the earphones.

The charging case has a battery capacity of 380mAh. As you can see, it is used to charge the earbuds. You can increase the battery life of earphones up to 25 hours. This is a great result for compact and budget wireless earbuds.

The charging case is charged via microUSB port. It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the case.
